This session utilizes gentle vacuum therapy medicupping to help move stagnant lymph fluid through the body’s lymphatic system following its normal pathway. The lymphatic system is an important part of your immune system and serves to eliminate toxins and waste from the body. It has no pump and relies on body movement and breathing to move fluid. Medicupping uses light suction and intentional movement patterns and direction to assist this process and can be useful for a number of things, including: chronic fatigue, digestive sluggishness, bloating, frequent illness or weakened immune system, swelling/edema (sock lines, rings are tight, puffy hands, ankles or feet), chronic headaches & migraines, sinus pain & pressure, puffiness in the face and neck, sore tight muscles, post op recovery and healing, scar reduction, and it relaxes the nervous system.
This session uses medicupping vacuum therapy to address a specific body area only. For example lower body ( abdomen, hips and legs) or upper body (face, neck, chest, back & arms). It is good for lymphatic drainage of specific problem areas that need treatment more often, or for muscle work, please specify on your intake form what area you would like to target.
This session incudes face and neck massage along with gentle vacuum therapy medicupping to relieve sinus pain and pressure, headaches, and facial puffiness.
